Signature Autosports Desert Power Wagons unveils its latest one-of-one creation—a fully reengineered 1948 Dodge Power Wagon B-1-PW-126 Stake Bed, finished in striking Aloha Blue Metallic and built with a singular purpose: Do everything the original could… and everything it never had the power to.

Completed in February 2026 after more than 1,600 hours of meticulous craftsmanship, this isn’t a restoration. It’s a complete redefinition of what a Power Wagon can be.

The original Power Wagon earned its reputation the hard way—through durability, simplicity, and brute capability.

This truck honors that legacy. Then completely ignores its limitations.

What began as one of the most capable trucks of its era has been transformed into something far more versatile—equally comfortable navigating backcountry terrain, jobsite demands, or a weekend drive through town.

At the core of this build sits a 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel—delivering over 420 horsepower and an immense 1,075 lb-ft of torque.

Power is delivered through a heavy-duty TorqueFlite® 48RE 4-speed automatic transmission and a NP271 manual-shift transfer case, providing true mechanical control with modern reliability.

Underneath, this Power Wagon is anything but vintage. A fully boxed, proprietary Tisdale Coachworks chassis forms the backbone of the build—engineered for strength, rigidity, and real-world punishment.

A custom four-link suspension system paired with King Shocks® 2.5-inch internal bypass coilovers delivers exceptional articulation off-road while maintaining composure on pavement. 37-inch Kenda® Klever™ M/T2 tires wrapped around 20-inch Method Race Wheels® MR605s complete the stance—aggressive, functional, and impossible to ignore.

This isn’t lifted for looks. It’s built for purpose.
